What is Friday Kick Ass Breakfast?
A group of business owners/entrepreneurs that meet weekly to bring challenges, celebrate wins, and seek wisdom.
Is this another networking group?
This is an emphatic NO!
We do not come here to pass out business cards and ask for leads.
We come here because we have found great value in the camaraderie and shared experience and wisdom of other business owners.
What is the typical agenda?
Every week can be different. These are some of things that have occurred at previous breakfasts.
- Someone brings a particular challenge they are having and is looking to see if anyone has had a similar issue or knows someone with a particular skill set to solve that issue.
- A new business owner comes and is met by several questions which have him see if he is on the right track.
- Someone talks about a book they have read, seminar they attended, or professional they have worked with who is greatly improving their business.
- We laugh out loud at ridiculous things that we have personally said or done and/or at things our staff, clients, or vendors have said or done.
- We share wins about great things that are happening.
How big or small does my business have to be to attend? How long should I be in business before I consider coming?
Past attendees have included businesses that were 6 months old or have been around for 20 years plus.
We have had attendees who hadn’t even started their companies yet and were looking to get pointed in the right direction.
Does the group as a whole subscribe to a particular religion, doctrine of philosophy?
We are NOT a religious organization.Many of the regular attendees have read a lot of the same books and see lots of thing eye to eye. However, at the end of the day, we do not have “THE ANSWERS”. The purpose of the group is to provide the forum to bring the questions. You may get 3 different answers to your question from 3 different people. No one is “right”. It is up to you to take what you can from the “collective wisdom” and leave the rest.
Do you have any dues or fees?
No. Pay for your meal or coffee if you choose to have it. That is it.
